Chuseok, Korean Thanksgiving Day, is one of the biggest and most important holidays in Korea. Family members from near and far come together to share food and stories and to give thanks to their ancestors.

Taste our traditional Chuseok foods at Seoul Cooking Club and learn about our Korean harvest festival and which special foods we eat to celebrate!
Event Overview
Celebrate Chuseok, one of the biggest Korean harvest festivals, by participating in a special culinary experience event.
For the price of $130, enjoy special food and drinks, learn about the cultural significance of Chuseok, and share professional chefs demonstrating iconic Korean dishes. After the demonstrations, there will be an opportunity to taste the special dishes.

Event Schedule
1. Welcome and Chuseok Introduction
- Brief introduction to the significance of Chuseok and Korean culture
- Overview of activities to expect for the day
2. Cooking Demonstration and Tasting
- Japchae: Watch a professional chef preparation of Japchae, a popular Korean dish made with glass noodles. Learn the secrets to achieving perfect texture and flavor.
- Bulgogi: Learn how to prepare and cook Korea's famous marinated grilled beef, Bulgogi. The chef will demonstrate the key to creating tender and flavorful Bulgogi.
- Jeon: Experience the art of making traditional Korean Jeon. Share the process of creating crispy and delicious Jeon.
- Quick Side Dish Demonstration: Learn how to make 5 simple and popular Korean side dishes including Cucumber Kimchi in just 3 minutes. Each dish is easy to follow and will add variety of flavors to your table.
- Tasting Session: After each cooking demonstration, there will be an opportunity to taste the dishes prepared by the chef and you. It's a time to truly experience the flavors of Chuseok.
3. Cultural Insights and Wrap-up
- In-depth explanation of traditional customs of Chuseok, ancestral rites, and traditional games
- Q&A session where participants can ask questions about Chuseok and Korean cuisine
- Closing remarks and words of gratitude
