1. Booking Classes
1.1
Class bookings can be made directly through the website. Visit the 'Cooking Classes' page, choose the desired class, and complete the registration information for yourself and any additional participants.
1.2
When booking, Please notify us of dietary requirements and allergies for yourself and other participants. Additionally, reconfirm these details upon arrival for your class. You bear sole responsibility, and we disclaim any responsibility for ensuring that allergy and dietary requirements are met by anyone consuming food taken home from the class.
1.3
The prices applicable to our Classes will be as advertised on the Site. Unless otherwise shown, advertised prices are stated inclusive of VAT.
1.4
Payments can be completed using credit cards, debit cards, or PayPal.
1.5 Upon confirming the booking and successful payment clearance for the class, a confirmation email will be sent to you, solidifying a binding contract between you and us. Following this, any cancellations or rescheduling of classes must adhere to the terms specified in sections 3 and 4 of these Terms.
1.6
In the event of pricing errors on the website, we retain the right to adjust the price of any classes to the accurate amount at any time. If you have already made a booking, we will promptly notify you of the pricing error, allowing you to either confirm your spot in the class at the correct price or receive a full refund.
2. Participation in Classes
2.1
The classes will be conducted at the specified venue, date, and time as advertised on the website.
2.2
You must arrive at the correct venue well before the scheduled class. We cannot be held liable for failing to arrive at the correct venue at the specified date and time. Failure to attend a class on time does not entitle you to a refund or the ability to book a substitute class.
2.3
Classes are accessible to individuals aged 16 and above.
2.4
Children aged 6-10 and 11-15 may participate in classes designed and advertised for their respective age groups. However, they must be accompanied by an adult who provides relevant contact details and remains within a reasonable distance of the venue during the class.
2.5
When attending any classes booked with us, you must bring your confirmation email and may be required to present a form of identification.
2.6
For in-person classes, we will furnish all the necessary materials and ingredients for your participation.
2.7
Proper attire for practical classes includes wearing flat, enclosed shoes, arms and legs covered, minimal jewellery, and securing hair back as necessary.
2.8
You are responsible for your personal belongings during class attendance, and we are not liable for any lost items.
2.9
Adherence to hygiene, health, and safety instructions provided during booking and throughout the class is mandatory. You acknowledge and agree that you are ultimately responsible for your health and safety, recognising inherent risks in participating in our classes.
2.10
Alcohol consumption is not permitted during regular cooking classes; however, this can be arranged during special events.
2.11
Individuals exhibiting unreasonable behaviour or appearing under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, disrupting other participants, will be asked to leave the premises. No refunds or rescheduling will be offered in such circumstances.
3. Cancellations and Amendments for Individual Bookings
3.1
You may only cancel a class booking made through the Site and obtain a full refund if you notify us in writing of your wish to cancel by 14 days before your relevant class is due to take place.
3.2
If you cannot attend a booked class, you can reschedule to an alternative date (subject to availability) at no additional cost. To avail of this opportunity, you must inform us in writing or by telephone at least 24 hours before the scheduled date of the initially booked class.
3.3
If you need to re-schedule a Class due to take place in less than seven days, we reserve the right to charge a re-scheduling fee of 50% of the price of the booked Class to secure your booking on an alternative date for the same Class.
3.4
Rescheduling a class within 24 hours of its start time is not guaranteed, and no refunds will be granted in such cases.
3.5
Group bookings are allowed for a maximum of 12 guests. If your group has over 12 people, please email us for a group booking enquiry.
3.6
While we aim to avoid alterations to our advertised classes after bookings commence, changing a class's time, date, content, or venue may occasionally be necessary. We retain the right to make such changes at any time at our discretion. Notice of any alterations to the time, date, or venue will be provided to you promptly before the class date. If changes prevent your attendance in a class you've booked and paid for, you are entitled to a full refund or the option to attend a substitute class on another date, subject to availability.
3.7
We hold the right to cancel any class at our discretion. In the event of a cancellation, we will offer a full refund or provide you with an alternative class date, as per your preference.
4. Cancellations and Amendments for Celebration and Corporate Bookings
4.1
For Private Classes or customised sessions, please make reservations through our Guest Relations team. The deposit amount and participant count may vary depending on the specific class, and you will receive guidance on these details at the time of booking.
4.2
You may only cancel any private Class or bespoke Class made through our team and obtain a full refund if you notify us in writing of your wish to cancel at least 28 days before your relevant private Class or bespoke event is due.
4.3
If you must cancel or reschedule any private or bespoke class scheduled within 28 days but more than 14 days in advance, we retain the right to impose a re-scheduling or cancellation fee, starting at a minimum of 500,000 KRW. If you provide 14 days' notice or less for cancellation, the deposit can only be refunded if there is a written agreement to the contrary.
4.4
We reserve the right to cancel any private or bespoke class at our discretion. In the event of cancellation, we will offer a complete refund or present you with an alternative date based on your preference.
Third-party links and resources in the Site
When the website includes links to other sites and third-party resources, these links are provided solely for your information. We do not have control over the content of those sites or resources and cannot be held responsible for them in any way.
5. Disclaimers
5.1
We will deliver all our classes with reasonable care and skill.
5.2
Unless expressly stated in these Terms, the Site and our classes are provided on an "as is" basis. We do not make any representation or warranty of any kind, whether express or implied (by common law, custom, statute, or otherwise), regarding our classes, the Site, or any other content, products, or services provided through it. This includes, but is not limited to, any warranties related to fitness for a particular purpose or concerning quality, completeness, accuracy, reliability, or non-infringement.
5.3
The provisions in these Terms are not intended to disclaim or exclude any warranty or liability that cannot be disclaimed or excluded under applicable law.
6. Limitation of Liability:
6.1
You are obligated to indemnify and absolve us, along with our employees, from any liability for the loss of personal property or any injuries or damages incurred by you or anyone associated with you during your time at Seoul Cooking Club, arising directly or indirectly from your food preparation activities, except in cases where such harm results from our negligence.
6.2
Our liability to you is capped at the total price for booked sessions or classes. These terms and conditions do not exempt us from liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence.
6.3
You must indemnify and safeguard Seoul Cooking Club, its officers, employees, and contractors against any losses, costs, claims, damages, expenses, liabilities, proceedings, or demands resulting from any breach of your obligations under these terms and conditions.
7. Complaints and Feedback:
7.1
Feedback on the class's quality, individual components, or overall experience is valuable for enhancing our future classes. General feedback will be shared with our chefs and staff, maintaining customer confidentiality.
7.2
In the event of a complaint during the class, please notify your trainer or staff promptly for immediate resolution. If satisfaction is not achieved, any subsequent complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days after your class.
7.3
